Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local company to seek an Accounting Specialist to assist with daily accounting functions, system updates, and accounts payable responsibilities. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 weeks, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable processing and related accounting tasks.
• Perform system updates and maintain accurate financial records.
• Enter, review, and update information within accounting systems.
• Assist with invoice processing and documentation.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
