A Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking 2D Laser Machine Operator to join their team!!

Pay Rate: $20.00
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm plus overtime as needed on a Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set production objectives and communicates them to employees
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines and other production equipment; assist other machine operators as needed.
- Set up machines by selecting appropriate lenses, loading programs, and adjusting parameters based on material type and thickness.
- Perform machine setups, load tooling, make control adjustments, and ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications.
- Unload, sort, count, organize, and package finished parts.
- Conduct in-process inspections to verify quality and adherence to engineering requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after production.
- Safely clear machine jams and report equipment malfunctions to management.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity, efficiency, and workplace safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Some College
· 2+ years’ proven experience as production supervisor or similar role
· Solid background working with sheet metal
· Experience with CNC machines (preferably 2D/3D lasers and press breaks)
· Highly efficient supervisory techniques and skills
· Organizational and leadership abilities
· Communication and interpersonal skills
· High level of accuracy and self-dependence
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to handle multiple complex tasks under close timelines
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook
· Computer proficient. Understanding of warehouse software application packages
