Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations Technician to assist with holiday light displays, special events, and general facility support.

This temporary position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including setting up and maintaining holiday light displays, assisting with event setups, and providing support to the Building Maintenance team as needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, can adapt to changing schedules, and is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule

Now through November 20th:

  • Primary hours: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Beginning November 21st:

  • Holiday Lights schedule will vary between daytime and evening shifts.

  • Day shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

  • Evening shift: 1:00 PM–9:30 PM

This temporary position offers up to 40 hours per week, depending on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, disassembly, repair, fabrication, and maintenance of holiday light displays and related materials.

  • Help prepare event spaces and assist with special event setups.

  • Provide technical support to the Special Events team.

  • Assist the Building Maintenance team as needed.

  • Help maintain holiday lighting displays and related equipment.

  • Perform general labor and hands-on tasks as assigned.

  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Safely lift and move heavy objects as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Dependable with regular, reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work well with others and maintain positive working relationships.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

  • Flexible and willing to work varying daytime and evening shifts as needed.

Bonus Skills: Experience or interest in artistic work, electrical tasks, computer-related work, fabrication, or maintenance is a plus!

Pay & Employment Details

  • Pay: $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Hours: Up to 40 hours per week.

  • Position Type: Temporary.

  • Work Environment: Outdoor and indoor work, depending on assigned duties.
