$75,000 Base Salary (DOE) + Uncapped Commission

We are recruiting an experienced Inside / Outside Sales Representative for a well-established and growing manufacturer/distributor of exterior building materials in the Tampa area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business, and driving revenue growth within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable managing existing accounts, generating new sales opportunities, and meeting with contractors and builders throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Account Management

• Manage and grow existing contractor, builder, and distributor accounts.
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and order placement.
• Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders.
• Follow up on bids, proposals, and outstanding quotations.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Resolve customer concerns while providing exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with current customers.

Outside Sales & Business Development

• Prospect and generate new business throughout Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
• Conduct customer meetings, jobsite visits, and product presentations.
• Build relationships with contractors, subcontractors, builders, and construction professionals.
• Identify upcoming commercial and residential construction projects.
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Follow up on leads, project bids, and opportunities.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
• Represent the company professionally within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience required.
• Experience in building materials, construction products, stucco, EIFS, coatings, waterproofing, masonry products, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Established relationships with contractors, builders, or construction professionals is a plus.
• Proven track record of generating new business and growing accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales software.
• Valid driver's license required.
