Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead warehouse personnel, and ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate movement of materials and products. This individual will be responsible for coordinating receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and overall warehouse performance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse operations and logistics, and the ability to improve processes while maintaining a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse employees to ensure productivity, accuracy, and accountability.

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, order picking, packing, staging, and material handling.

• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and proper documentation.

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

• Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

• Monitor warehouse performance, identify operational inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

• Collaborate with production, purchasing, logistics, and other departments to maintain efficient supply chain operations.

• Manage staffing levels, assign daily responsibilities, and establish priorities to meet operational demands.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, and warehouse reports.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and operational issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse supervision, warehouse management, distribution, or logistics leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a warehouse team.

• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse procedures.

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and related computer applications.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material-handling equipment.

• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, or supply chain operations is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications preferred.

Compensation
