Contract Leasing Agent

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Temporary Leasing Agent to assist with daily apartment leasing office operations. This individual will communicate with current and prospective residents, respond to phone calls and emails, enter maintenance work orders, and show available apartments to prospective renters.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service and communication skills, is organized, and enjoys helping people find their next home. Previous leasing experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong customer service background are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails from current and prospective residents.

• Provide professional, friendly customer service and address resident inquiries.

• Show available apartments to prospective residents.

• Assist prospective renters with questions about apartment availability and the leasing process.

• Enter and update maintenance work orders as requests are received.

• Assist with daily administrative tasks and maintain organized resident records.

• Support the leasing team with daily office operations as needed.

Schedule & Training

• December 2026: Work 2 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, to receive training and become familiar with the property and leasing procedures.

• January–March 2027: Work approximately 3–5 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing agent or apartment property management experience preferred.

• Previous customer service experience required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to manage emails and enter information accurately.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
