A local manufacturing company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a digital printer. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with computers, machinery, and physical materials and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality products.

About the Role

The  Digital Printing position is primarily responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment used to produce product sample boards and other printed materials. Daily tasks include preparing digital artwork, configuring print layouts, monitoring print quality, and completing routine machine cleaning and ink changes.

This position requires the ability to follow detailed procedures, navigate computer software, troubleshoot basic printing issues, and maintain consistent quality throughout production. On-the-job training will be provided, and the employee may be cross-trained in other manufacturing operations as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17.00 - $20.00 per hour commensurate with experience
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 6 paid holidays
• 401(k) after 6 months for full-time employees

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate digital printing equipment using computer software and the printer's onboard controls.
• Inspect printed materials for alignment, color consistency, image quality, and other defects.
• Assist with finishing, sorting, packaging, and preparing completed products for shipment.
• Perform daily cleaning of print heads, wipers, ink caps, pumps, and other designated machine components according to established procedures. Complete additional scheduled cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist with loading, unloading, handling, and organizing production materials.
• Assist other production departments as needed to support workflow and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail: Able to follow multi-step procedures, verify measurements and positioning, and identify small errors before they affect production.
• Mechanical aptitude: Comfortable working with machinery, adjusting settings, using basic tools, and learning equipment maintenance procedures.
• Problem-solving skills: Able to recognize printing errors, follow troubleshooting steps, and correct basic setup issues.
• Dependability: Arrives on time, follows instructions, and consistently completes assigned work.
• Organization: Able to keep digital files, materials, tools, and work areas organized.
• Quality-focused mindset: Takes pride in producing accurate, consistent work and understands the importance of checking output before proceeding with a full production run.
• Teamwork and communication: Works effectively with coworkers and communicates problems or production concerns promptly.
• Physical capability: Able to stand for extended periods and safely handle boards, materials, ink supplies, and other production items as required.

Experience and Training

Previous experience with digital printing, graphic production, manufacturing equipment, or machine maintenance is a plus but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates computer proficiency, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn.

The successful candidate must be comfortable learning detailed operating procedures and performing routine equipment cleaning and maintenance as part of the daily workday.
