Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and motivated Optical Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the Vision Care Industry who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and is ready to work in a professional medical office environment.

On-the-job training will be provided, so prior optical experience is not required. However, candidates with previous experience in an optometrist's office, ophthalmology clinic, or another healthcare setting are encouraged to apply.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $20–$23 per hour, with flexibility for candidates with relevant experience
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Anticipated Start Date: December 1, 2026, with the possibility of an earlier start

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations in the vision care office.
• Help prepare patients for eye exams and assist with basic testing procedures as trained.
• Operate and maintain optical equipment as instructed.
• Support the optometrist and other clinical staff with patient care and office procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Assist patients with a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.
• Follow office procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an optometrist's office or eye care setting is preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with patients and supporting a healthcare team.
• Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
