MIG Welder/Fitter – 1st Shift

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced MIG Welders/Fitters for a local manufacturing company! The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG (wire-feed) welding experience, the ability to fit and assemble metal components, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG (wire-feed) welding on metal components and assemblies.

• Fit, align, and position metal parts for welding and fabrication.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.

• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding.

• Use welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools.

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Identify and correct welding defects as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.

• Experience fitting and assembling metal components.

• Ability to read blueprints and understand welding specifications.

• Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
