Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout a warehouse facility. This position focuses on general housekeeping, floor care, waste removal, recycling, and pallet organization to support daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers and other powered cleaning equipment to maintain warehouse floors and aisles.

• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.

• Collect, sort, and dispose of cardboard and recyclable materials.

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse aisles, storage areas, loading docks, and common spaces.

• Collect, sort, stack, and prepare pallets for shipment or recycling.

• Remove debris and ensure walkways remain clear of obstructions and safety hazards.

• Perform routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Follow all established safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

• Assist with general facility maintenance and warehouse support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or facilities experience preferred.

• Ability to operate or learn to operate powered cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers.

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good time management and ability to work independently.

• Strong awareness of workplace safety practices.

• Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
