General Labourer – Warehouse & Manufacturing

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Richmond Hill is seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking individuals for General Labour opportunities with local employers in the warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, products, and shipments.

• Assist with picking, packing, labelling, sorting, and preparing products for distribution.

• Support production, assembly, and packaging activities.

• Perform general warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Inspect materials and finished products for visible defects or damage.

• Assist with inventory handling, stock replenishment, and material movement.

• Use basic hand tools, pallet jacks, and other authorized equipment when trained.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous general labour, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience is an asset but not required.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements throughout a shift.

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23 kg), where required, with appropriate equipment or assistance.

• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
