Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves material movement, inventory organization, shipping and receiving support, and operating a sit-down forklift to transport materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials safely.

• Receive, inspect, sort, and organize incoming materials and products.

• Transport materials to designated storage locations and work areas.

• Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order preparation.

• Maintain accurate material identification and organization.

• Inspect materials for visible damage and report discrepancies.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.

• Assist with coordinating material flow and supporting daily warehouse priorities.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Provide support to team members and assist with workflow as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and material handling experience required.

• Sit-down forklift operating experience required.

• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
