Warehouse Worker – Food Bank

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Hours Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (work 4 ten hour days)

 

Do you enjoy working in a warehouse and helping people? We are looking for a dependable, friendly Warehouse Worker to join a local food bank team in Fort Myers! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and making a difference in the community.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, organize, and stock food and warehouse supplies.
• Pick and prepare food orders for distribution.
• Load and unload deliveries and move products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with food distribution and interact with clients, volunteers, and community members in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Check products for quality, expiration dates, and proper storage.
• Work as part of a team to ensure food reaches the people who need it.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stocking, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Strong people skills with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and moving boxes throughout the shift.
• Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs. as needed.
• Must be a team player who enjoys helping others.
