Maintenance Technician

 

A manufacturing company in the Edinburgh area is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team! This is a great opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and supporting production operations. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

 

Pay/Benefits:

• Up to $25/hr

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 4:30pm-1am    
• Overtime as needed

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.
• Maintain, test, and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Assist with facility maintenance, plumbing repairs, and welding projects as needed.
• Operate lifts, ladders, and aerial equipment safely when required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Technical certification, apprenticeship, or related training is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be open to working overtime including weekends and on call.
