Start Time: 7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hot Header Operator with recent, hands-on experience in hot heading, heat treating, and machine maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metal forming processes, machine operation, and equipment troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor hot heading machinery to manufacture metal components according to production specifications.

• Perform hot heading operations, ensuring parts meet quality, dimensional, and production requirements.

• Apply knowledge of heat treatment processes and monitor appropriate operating conditions.

• Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with repairs as needed.

• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure products meet quality standards.

• Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain production efficiency and product quality.

• Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery and handling heated materials.

• Maintain accurate production records and keep the work area clean and organized.

• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily manufacturing goals.

Required Qualifications

• Recent, hands-on experience operating hot heading machinery is required.

• Experience with heat treatment processes is required.

• Experience performing machine maintenance and troubleshooting is required.

• Ability to identify equipment issues and make appropriate adjustments.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures and workplace safety.

• Ability to follow work instructions, meet production deadlines, and maintain quality standards.

• Reliable attendance and the ability to work the first shift, starting at 7:00 AM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal forming, precision manufacturing, or industrial production.

• Familiarity with machine setups, tooling changes, and equipment adjustments.

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred but not required.
