Receiving Associate – Part-Time (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our client's team in Wheeling, IL. This position is ideal for someone looking for a part-time opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The right candidate will assist with receiving incoming shipments, inspecting materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Previous receiving or warehouse experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies.
• Verify received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Record incoming inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
• Organize received materials and ensure they are stored in the appropriate locations.
• Assist with general warehouse and receiving department duties as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures when handling materials.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or related experience.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Basic computer skills for entering and tracking inventory.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time.
