Express Employment Professionals Hamilton is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our client, a leading manufacturer of medical equipment and healthcare products. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Repair and replace components such as motors, bearings, belts, chains, and sensors.
Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery, CNC equipment, and automated production systems, where applicable.
Complete routine equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and performance checks.
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and general facility maintenance.
Read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and mechanical or electrical schematics.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Previous industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and repair skills.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and workplace health and safety.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Industrial Millwright certification, electrical training, PLC troubleshooting, or CNC equipment experience is an asset.
