A leading regional producer and distributor of premium meat and seafood products throughout Southern California is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Packer to join their team in Northridge. The company supplies foodservice establishments and broad-line food distributors with high-quality pork, beef, poultry, lamb, and seafood products.

Summary: The Packer will be responsible for packaging ground beef, weighing finished products, loading boxes, and staging packaged products for distribution. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a cold environment, and able to perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities:

• Package ground beef and other meat products according to company standards.
• Weigh packaged products to ensure accurate weights and quantities.
• Load finished products into boxes and prepare them for distribution.
• Stage completed boxes in designated areas for shipment or further processing.
• Stand and move throughout the shift while performing repetitive packaging tasks.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with additional production and packaging duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment maintained at approximately 45–50°F.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet production and quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in food production, meat processing, or packaging is a plus.
• Must have Steel-toed boots.
