Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is assisting a small manufacturing company to fill several welding positions on their team. Position is located in the East metro.

 

Pay: $25 – 30/hour DOE

 

Schedule:   1st Shift Monday – Friday   

               

Job Overview:

 

We are searching for a Welder on our 2nd shift to join our Welding Department. This individual will be performing TIG, MIG, Brazing, and Spot-Welding to join metal components and/or fill holes and seams. It will contain about 60% Welding responsibilities and 40% cross-training in other positions. This is a full-time, skilled position. The ideal candidate will be looking for a solid company where he/she can establish long-term employment that will offer growth and opportunity. 

 

Skills & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in MIG and TIG Welding preferred.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with material thickness ranges from .030 to .250 in range.
• Ability to measure and inspect his/her own work to ensure conformance with drawings.
• Ability to perform verification of materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Candidate will be required to pass skills test including hands-on welding test.
