Warehouse Operations Lead

Location: Milton, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration: Temporary (with potential for permanent)

 

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee the daily execution of warehouse operations for our client in Milton. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities while providing guidance and direction to warehouse staff.

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong operational knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly shift activities as required to provide timely fulfillment and shipping of all orders
• Direct the warehouse laborers and temporary warehouse laborers to provide priorities and resolve conflicts to efficiently fulfill orders on a daily basis
• Shipping duties include supervising accurate labeling and auditing orders, load trucks and processing of BOL
• Receiving duties include; unloading containers, put away product, reconciling paperwork and maintaining an accurate inventory
• Picking includes accurate picking of all orders in full and on time

 

Qualifications

• 3-5 years managing multiple functions within a manufacturing or distribution facility, specifically coordinating order picking and stock-keeping functions
• Lead or supervisor experience
• Operating warehouse equipment experience including order picker. Stand up reach and sit down experience with swing reach experience a plus
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Commitment to workplace safety
