Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a food processing facility in Stanwood, WA. Starting pay is $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity on day shift with opportunities to learn and grow your maintenance skills.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Day Shift
• Workdays TBD (may include Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, or Sun-Thu)
• Start time: 5:00 a.m. until work is completed (potentially up to 6:00 p.m.)
• Occasional overtime required

This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and has some maintenance experience, whether in manufacturing, production, facilities maintenance, construction, automotive repair, farm equipment, or a related field.

Duties include:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting motor controls, drives, and PLC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Set up, calibrate, and install production equipment
• Maintain and repair motors, drives, and food production equipment
• Order parts and help maintain maintenance inventory
• Complete maintenance logs and repair documentation
• Help keep equipment running safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• At least some hands-on maintenance, repair, mechanical, or technical experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Willingness to learn new equipment and systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial, production, building, or equipment maintenance
• Experience troubleshooting electrical or refrigeration systems
• Welding experience is a plus
• Food production experience is helpful but not required
• Experience with PLCs or automated equipment is a plus, but training may be provided

Pay is based on experience but will be within the range of $24 - $27 per hour.
