Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: Based on Experience (BOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day AP and AR functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments
• Generate and distribute customer invoices
• Post customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing inquiries
• Support accounting and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Accounting required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
