Schedule: Varies based on business needs; overtime, weekends, and varying shifts may be required.

Position Overview:

• Lead daily shipping operations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring finished products are handled accurately, safely, and shipped on schedule.

• Coordinate shipping activities with production and warehouse teams to meet customer deadlines and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Hands-on leadership opportunity for someone with shipping or warehouse experience who can keep operations organized and support a productive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee picking, staging, loading, and shipping of finished products.

• Verify shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, product quantities, and packaging for accuracy.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

• Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory movement.

• Troubleshoot shipping discrepancies, delays, and inventory issues.

• Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.

• Provide direction and support to shipping team members.

• Communicate with production, warehouse, and leadership teams to keep orders moving efficiently.

Important Information:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 2 years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing.

• Previous leadership or lead experience preferred.

• Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to become certified.

• Basic math and computer skills required; ERP or warehouse system experience is a plus.

• Must be able to read shipping documents and follow work instructions.

• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as business needs require.
