About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Machinist who wants to be involved in the entire manufacturing process, not just operate a machine. This role is responsible for taking parts from blueprint to finished product through setup, programming, machining, inspection, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Setup and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual equipment
  • Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies
  • Edit and optimize CNC programs
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Disassemble and reassemble components for customers
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
  • Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of machining experience
  • Ability to independently setup and run CNC equipment
  • Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
  • Experience with precision measuring tools
  • Ability to properly use and read micrometer calipers
  • Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials
  • CNC programming and CAD/CAM experience required
