Legal Secretary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a professional and client-focused Legal Secretary for a full-time opportunity with a local law office in Missoula, MT.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys helping people through challenging situations, and has strong administrative and organizational skills. Prior legal experience is not required, though experience in a professional office setting is highly preferred.

Pay

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, DOE

Schedule

Full-time
40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for client intake and onboarding
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regular communication with clients
Assist clients throughout the legal process by answering questions and providing updates
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars
Organize and maintain client files and documentation
Perform general administrative and office support duties
Assist with data entry, record management, and case-related paperwork

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment
Professional demeanor and ability to work with confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred
Prior legal office experience is a plus, but not required
