      Grocery Retail Cashier


LOCATION: Bend, Oregon
PAY: \$20 – \$22/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
AVAILABILITY: Must have open availability during store hours

Position Summary

We are looking for friendly, reliable Cashiers to join our team in Bend, OR. The ideal candidate will create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintain a safe and clean environment, and embody our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding restricted items (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
  • Report pricing discrepancies and assist with promotional offers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming ads and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and store safety procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized; report equipment issues promptly.
  • Provide product information and assistance throughout the store.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, counting)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
  • Experience working in retail or grocery environments
