Litigation Attorney

 

 Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Litigation Attorney to join a respected law firm in Omaha, NE!

 

 Position Details:

• Type: Direct Hire

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

• Location: Omaha, NE

• Pay/Salary: $100,000 - $150,000+ DOE

Job Duties:

• Manage commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents.

• Represent clients during depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings.

• Handle workers' compensation matters and mentor an associate attorney.

• Build client relationships, negotiate settlements, and support business development efforts.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or ability to obtain licensure promptly.

• 5+ years of commercial litigation experience required.

• Workers' compensation experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• Ability to independently manage a caseload and collaborate with a legal team.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
