Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with product selection, pricing, and order processing
• Build strong relationships with contractors, dealers, vendors, and internal sales teams
• Research products and source parts using computer systems, catalogs, and vendor resources
• Upsell related products and apply suggestive selling techniques to increase sales opportunities
• Handle inventory control, shipping and receiving, warranty administration, and customer follow-up
• Maintain showroom appearance, merchandising, stocking, and organization
• Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct outbound sales and service calls to support customer needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of counter sales experience, preferably within the HVAC industry
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
• Previous experience with:
  • Customer Service
  • Data Entry
  • Estimating
  • Purchase Orders
  • Sales
  • Shipping & Receiving
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Licensing & Certifications

• Valid Driver's License in good standing
• CDL is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Regular standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling
• Ability to use computers, phones, and office equipment for extended periods
• Ability to work around warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Occasional exposure to chemicals and warehouse environments
