Salary: $25 - $30 per hour

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Part-Time Accounting Assistant for a temporary contract that is expected to last 8 - 12 months. This role will take place in Everett, WA. Hours are day shift and have some flexibility of work 3 or 4 days a week until complete. 

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thoroughly understands debits and credits, and takes pride in accurate work. This role will support the owner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger entries, invoicing, and accounting data entry. Must have an eye for detail and verifiable experience.

This role is 100% on-site (no remote options).

Responsibilities:

• Process AP and AR transactions
• Post and maintain General Ledger entries
• Enter invoices, debits, and credits accurately
• Review financial documents for accuracy
• Maintain organized accounting records
• Support accounting and administrative functions

Qualifications:

• Verifiable AP/AR experience required
• General Ledger experience required
• Strong understanding of debits and credits
• High-volume data entry experience
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• AS400 experience a plus
