Quality Control Specialist
Position Summary
The Quality Control Specialist inspects incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role is responsible for product classification, accurate documentation, sanitation procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming products by verifying specifications, conducting visual inspections, and performing measurements.

Identify quality issues and report unacceptable materials to management for review and disposition.

Weigh products and apply identification labels to document product specifications and supplier information.

Operate classification equipment to sort products by type and weight.

Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports, classification records, and quality logs.

Perform routine quality inspections of finished products and report findings to management.

Clean and sanitize workstations before and after each shift according to established procedures.

Maintain accurate cleaning and sanitation records.

Follow safety procedures, workplace standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
-
Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with patience and flexibility.

Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

Experience preparing reports and maintaining accurate records is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Basic administrative skills and strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to follow established quality, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to reach above shoulder height and below waist level as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of boxes.
