Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Pay: $25-$32
Schedule: Early shift, typically 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM (may shift to 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM depending on project phase)
Duration: Approx. 2.5 months, tentative start 11/9/26 with potential for extension and future projects

About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a General Foreman for a commercial interior remodel in Gilbert. You’ll oversee daily jobsite activity, keep subcontractors accountable, and stay in close contact with the company owner throughout the day. This is a hands-on field leadership role without full project management duties.

Responsibilities

• -Verify scheduled subcontractors are onsite and report no-shows immediately
• -Enforce PPE and safe tool use on the jobsite
• -Keep the site clean, organized, and professional in an occupied building
• -Spot quality issues such as misplaced walls, uneven floors, poor drywall, and -- --Finish defects
• -Review drawings and flag discrepancies
• -Communicate progress and problems to the owner multiple times daily

Requirements

• -Commercial construction or interior remodel experience
• -Experience overseeing subcontractors or daily field operations
• -Strong knowledge of framing, drywall, and finish work
• -Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing (MEP)
• -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• -Knowledge of jobsite safety and PPE requirements
• -Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• -Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently

Physical Requirements
Walking and standing throughout the shift, inspecting work areas. PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, protective footwear).
