Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience

Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals are met. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, this role provides leadership to production employees in a fast-paced extrusion environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise production employees.
• Ensure safe operation of personnel, equipment, and production processes.
• Monitor product quality and adjust process settings to meet customer specifications.
• Operate and troubleshoot single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines and supporting systems, including pumps, blowers, pelletizers, and temperature controllers.
• Coordinate production activities to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Serve as a liaison between Operations leadership and production staff.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Respond effectively to production issues and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing experience required; extrusion experience preferred (twin-screw experience a plus).
• Basic math, computer, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
