Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Packing Supervisor to lead daily packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees production output, employee performance, product quality, and food safety while managing a team of 15–40+ employees.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise packaging operations, including weighing, bagging, labeling, sealing, and preparing products for shipment.

Lead, train, and hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, attendance, and safety.

Monitor production goals, staffing, and workflow to meet deadlines.

Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Maintain accurate production reports and product traceability records.

Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement improvements to efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or production.

Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees.

Fluent in English and Spanish required.

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or SQF standards.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

SQF certification, ERP experience, or Lean/5S knowledge preferred.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.

Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods as needed.
