Type: Full-Time, Evaluation to Hire
Location: Mill Creek 
Pay: $23-$25 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM 

Job Details

This position is responsible for loading and operating CNC machines, following work instructions, and supporting general shop operations as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous CNC or manufacturing experience, though candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Load and operate CNC machines according to work instructions and production requirements
  • Set up and run 3-axis vertical CNC milling machines
  • Follow work instructions to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
  • Perform in-process quality checks and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and troubleshoot machining issues to bring parts back within specifications
  • Deburr parts as needed during machine run time
  • Handle materials and perform general shop duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with additional shop tasks and production needs as required

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
  • Experience setting up 3-axis vertical CNC milling machines preferred
  • CNC lathe experience is a plus
  • Manufacturing, machining, or production experience preferred
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean workspace
