Construction Labourer

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $21.00+/ per hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join their field crew supporting street lighting installations throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Construction Labourer Highlights:

• Assist the Derrick Digger operator with installing street light bases, poles, and overhead lines.

• Pull and handle electrical cables.

• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.

• Perform hand shovelling, manual excavation, site cleanup, and general labour duties.

• Operate a skid steer as required to move and haul materials.

• Safely use basic power tools, including drills and skill saws.

• Assist crew members with daily construction activities and follow direction from the Foreman.

• Work safely around heavy equipment, vehicles, and active construction sites.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's licence.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.

• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Assets:

• Previous construction or general labour experience.

• Skid steer operating experience.

• Experience using basic power tools.

• Experience working around heavy equipment.

• Street lighting or underground utility experience.

Hours & Wage:

• Wage: $21.00+ per hour

• Schedule: Full-time, year-round

• Hours: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
