Shipper/Receiver

Located in Edmonton, AB

An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver for a temporary position, with the possibility of extension and permanent employment.

Shipper/Receiver Highlights:

• Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.

• Assemble containers and crates, including loading and unloading trucks.

• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documentation.

• Maintain accurate internal records.

• Record shortages and report damaged goods.

• Pack goods for shipment and unpack incoming products.

• Apply identifying information and shipping instructions to shipments.

• Operate trucks and sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of forklift operating experience.

• Experience operating Raymond reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.

• Forklift and reach truck certifications are preferred and considered an asset.

• Must have steel-toed boots.

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. manually on occasion, approximately 2–12 times per day. Most lifting is completed using a forklift.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours & Wage:

• Wage: $18/per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
