Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Receptionist for a temporary assignment with a growing company in downtown Baton Rouge. This position will serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, field personnel, and job applicants. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, and able to maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
- Take accurate messages and relay information promptly
- Greet visitors and assist with check-in procedures
- Direct vendors, deliveries, and guests to the appropriate personnel
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Keep the front office organized and professional at all times
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Previous receptionist or front desk experience
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Reliable attendance and commitment to completing the full assignment
- Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
