Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Fresno. This position involves setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.

• Load and verify CNC programs, tooling, offsets, and machine settings.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments.

• Perform test runs and make adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances.

• Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot equipment or quality issues.

• Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance.

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous CNC machining and machine setup experience.

• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.

• Experience using precision measuring tools.

• Knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, tooling, and machine adjustments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.

• Willingness to work overtime, including Fridays and weekends, as needed.
