Production Control Administrator

Be the person who keeps everything moving.

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by keeping multiple priorities on track? We're seeking a Production Control Administrator to become a key player in our operations team. In this role, you'll serve as the central hub connecting customers, production, shipping, and administration to help ensure projects move smoothly from quote to delivery.

This is not a sales position. There is no cold calling, prospecting, or commission-based selling. Instead, you'll use your organizational skills to manage quotes, enter orders, coordinate shipments, track production progress, process timecards, and maintain accurate job costing records.

No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be preparing customer quotes and coordinating freight shipments, while the next you're updating production schedules, reconciling labor hours, and supporting shop floor operations. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping details organized, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare customer quotes for equipment, spare parts, and projects using established pricing guidelines.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including freight scheduling, shipping documentation, and customer communication.
  • Enter and maintain customer orders, ensuring accuracy from order receipt through invoicing.
  • Support production scheduling and work-order tracking to keep projects on schedule.
  • Process employee timecards and allocate labor costs to the correct projects.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, helping management maintain accurate reporting and profitability.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams to keep operations running smoothly.

What Makes You Successful

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and follow through on tasks.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers, freight carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
