Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator positions in Palestine, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Malakoff, TX and its surroundings that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment, including:
  • Excavators
  • Dozers
  • Dump Trucks
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies and project requirements.
• Work efficiently with field crews to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Travel to job sites throughout Texas as needed.

Travel Requirements

• Travel approximately 2/3 of the year to projects throughout Texas.
• While traveling, employees can expect to be away from home for extended periods depending on project needs.
• Reliable transportation to designated meeting locations is required.

Work Schedule

When Working Locally (Home):

• Monday through Thursday
• 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Four 11-hour days each week

When Traveling:

• Monday through Saturday (or as project requires)
• 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• 12-hour workdays for the duration of the project

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators, dozers, and dump trucks.
• Ability to work safely in changing job site conditions.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Texas.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
