Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Journeyman Electrician position through our Athens office! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Install and maintain wiring, lighting, and power systems in commercial facilities.

• Work with high-voltage systems, motors, and industrial control systems.

• Install and maintain residential wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting.

• Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and schematics.

• Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

• Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building regulations, and OSHA safety standards.

• Maintain required documentation and permits for inspections.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• A valid Journeyman Electrician license.

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment.

• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and dependability.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
