Induction Coil Repair Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for an Induction Coil Repair Technician position through our Athens office! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Inspect, repair, and rebuild induction furnace coils and shunts using copper tubing and bars, insulation, fasteners, and water-cooled components.

• Disassemble, form, fit, and reassemble parts following drawings and instructions.

• Use calipers and micrometers to take accurate measurements and identify leaks, worn parts, and improper fits.

• Test completed repairs to ensure they meet specifications and accurately document parts and work performed.

• Assist with brazing, soldering, welding, and fabrication once trained.

• Load and move equipment and travel to customer sites for installations and service.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

• Accurate basic measurement skills.

• Ability to follow drawings, sketches, and written instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Willingness to learn repair processes and travel for customer service work.
