Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor position through our Athens office! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. In this role, you will:

• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate daily repairs, construction, and facility upkeep.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery, HVAC, and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and help identify the causes of recurring problems.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.

• Coordinate tools, supplies, contractors, and service vendors, including pest control and waste management.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety policies.

• Oversee facility cleanliness, groundskeeping, and exterior property maintenance.

• Train and evaluate maintenance staff and support their development.

• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

• Support equipment installations, facility layout changes, and utility upgrades.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Experience in facilities maintenance and supervising maintenance personnel.

• Knowledge of machinery, HVAC, and building systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and recordkeeping skills.

• Familiarity with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

• Ability to coordinate vendors, manage projects, and prioritize production needs.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
