Schedule/Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri (2:00p-12:00a)-10hr a day

Brief Job Description: The Machine Operator and Warehousing Assistant is responsible for setting up and operating high-speed converting and slitting machinery. Responsible for supporting receiving/ shipping functions, and providing support to the Digital Press, Coating and Pouching areas. . The Machine Operator and Warehousing Assistant will run a Slitter, operate powered industrial vehicles, perform warehousing functions, and assist with packing pouches to prepare for shipment.  This role is responsible for the inspection and slitting of printed roll materials while monitoring tension, label, and roll count of all finished products. The Machine Operator and Warehousing Assistant is further responsible for performing manual and mechanical duties to set up and operate machinery.  The Machine Operator and Warehousing Assistant must be detail oriented, dependable, and willing to work with other departments to ensure throughput meets all customers’ needs and expectations. In addition, this role will be trained and required to operate a variety of auxiliary equipment to ensure production efficiency and maximize throughput.  The Machine Operator and Warehousing Assistant will review, suggest, and implement new processes and improvements for department and company initiatives.
