Our client in Eastlake, OH is seeking a Fabrication & Machining Technician to support production operations involving metal fabrication, machining, assembly, and quality inspection. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and using precision measuring tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of metal components according to blueprints and work orders.
• Operate machining equipment including CNC mills, lathes, saws, grinders, and other production machinery.
• Set up and adjust machinery as needed for production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Perform deburring, grinding, drilling, cutting, and finishing operations.
• Inspect parts for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Move materials throughout the facility using overhead cranes, hoists, or other material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous fabrication and/or machining experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with CNC equipment, press brakes, grinders, or metalworking machinery preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.

1st Shift, Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr
