Medical Receptionist

Located in Longview, WA

Salary: $19.00-$24.00 DOE

Express is actively recruiting for a full-time Medical Receptionist for a local company in Cowlitz County. Candidates should have previous experience in a medical and professional setting. The medical receptionist serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts.

 

Job Summary: Responsibilities include checking in patients, scheduling appointments, registering patient’s demographics, collecting co-pays, prepping patient records for upcoming appointments and other secondary jobs.

Candidates must have the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office. Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
• Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

• Screens patients for MRI safety
• Greets and checks in patients
• Receives payments
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What we look for in a Medical Billing Specialist:

• High school or GED
• Computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Wage:$19.00-$24.00 per hour DOE
