CNC Operator- ENTRY LEVEL

We are seeking CNC Operators to safely and efficiently set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts with tight tolerances. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM-2:00 AM 

Compensation: $20

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, adjust programs, and configure tooling, clamping, calibrations, and console settings for operations such as milling, drilling, boring, threading, and profiling.

• Operate machines and monitor performance to ensure accuracy, detect malfunctions, and maintain proper tolerances.

• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools; perform first-article and in-process inspections.

• Replace worn or damaged tools and maintain machines, tooling, and work areas in optimal condition.

• Troubleshoot machining issues, recover machines from alarms, and communicate solutions to supervisors.

• Assemble machined parts to verify fit and function.

• Make offset adjustments and navigate controller screens as needed.

• Complete all required documentation, work orders, and quality records.

• Follow safe work practices and perform proper startup and shutdown procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Vocational or technical training in machining required; CNC Operator Certificate preferred.

• Minimum 1 years of machine operation experience.

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).

• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and understanding of machine controls.

• Knowledge of tooling, inventory control, and basic supply management.

• Effective verbal communication skills and willingness to support process improvements.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Manual dexterity for computer and machine operation.

• Correctable vision and hearing; ability to inspect small parts and fine details.

• Ability to move throughout a large production area and stand for extended periods.

• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to bend, reach, and move as required for machine operation.
