Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant on behalf of a manufacturing company in Longview, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall financial health of an organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

 

Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

• Assist with the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.

• Review expenses, payroll records, and other financial documents for accuracy.

• Maintain and update financial databases to ensure accurate, accessible information.

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.

• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.

• Support financial analysis, reporting, and other accounting projects as needed.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and accounting software; familiarity with MAS/Sage is preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Must demonstrate professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality.
