Warehouse/Back-Up Delivery Driver Job Summary:
A locally operated showroom and sales office for a national, high-end window and door manufacturer is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Back-Up Delivery Driver. This role includes warehouse support and deliveries throughout the Grand Rapids area and parts of West and Northern Michigan.

Warehouse/Back-Up Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26-ft. box truck to deliver windows and doors
- Pick and stage products for delivery and customer pickup using inventory systems and scanners
- Load and unload products at warehouses and job sites
- Verify product accuracy using load lists and scanners
- Operate warehouse equipment, including lift trucks, when certified
- Update warehouse management systems and inventory records
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed
- Prep windows and doors for delivery
- Communicate delivery issues, back orders, and damaged products to internal teams
- Collect C.O.D. payments when required
- Complete delivery paperwork and driver logs
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Receive, check in, and put away stock
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM, with OT as needed
- $23-$24/hr., depending on experience
Warehouse/Back-Up Delivery Driver Qualifications:
- Valid DOT Medical Card and Chauffeur’s License with an excellent driving record
- Experience operating a 26-ft. box truck
- Previous delivery experience required
- Warehouse experience required
- Ability to safely load, unload, and move large, heavy window and door products
- Ability to maneuver a delivery truck in tight spaces and varying weather and jobsite conditions
- High attention to detail
- Ability to do heavy lifting example: Maneuvers window and door product for safe and efficient transport using balance and coordination. Units are very large and awkward (for example a high-end series sliding door is 8ft by 6ft and weighs approximately 800 lbs.).
