Are you a designated CPA with public practice experience who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services? Our client, a well-established and growing public accounting firm in Red Deer, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take ownership of client engagements while working closely with clients on their accounting, tax, and advisory needs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns.
• Complete and review compilation and review engagement files.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding financial, accounting, and tax matters.
• Support and collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality service delivery.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and firm processes.

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA designation (required).
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax, accounting, and assurance standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, compilations, and review engagements.
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
